
It is currently sitting in a quart mason jar, capped with the ring & 2 coffee filters (to let air in, but not dust & other contaminating particles), in a dark cupboard for the next couple of weeks or so.

It's a probiotic drink, so it's like yoghurt on crack as far as the good healthy stuff. I've read it helps with things from weight loss & PMS'ing & healing the gut to loads of other stuff.
As for taste, I've read it can taste like fizzy apple cider, to fizzy apple cider vinegar. I don't know the answers to any of your questions yet though, because I just started & cannot speak from experience, LOLOLOL.
Google kombucha tea. You'll find loads of info on it. For less than $4, if it does none of the above, I've lost very little.
