Those cast iron pans.....

Remember those cast iron pans I found at a thrift shoppe? I FINALLY got around to cleaning them up.....

And I must have done something right, because when I made fried taters tonight, nary a one stuck!!!

They were delicious, by the way ;)

  1. Glad you're enjoying those pans! My pan collection is 95% cast iron. I even have a sauce pot, muffin pan, a couple bread pans, two waffle irons and a griddle that are cast iron. The rest of my pans are stainless steel, same goes for the cookie sheets, small muffin tins, cake pans, etc..... I also have glass bread pans we picked up at an auction for $.50ec. and I love them!

BTW your taters look yummy, I'm sure they were good. :o)

  2. Mmmm... taters!
I don't know why, but I haven't fixed taters this way in ages and this has got me thinking of doing taters with sausages for dinner tonight. :-)

I LOVE my cast iron pans... and I found a great one at a thrift shop, just last week. It hardly needed cleaning or seasoning, so I'll give it a try tonight.

  3. I love my cast iron pans! I once found a No. 10 12/7/16 one at a yard sale for a $1. It was in perfect condition. All it needed was a wash and season.

"....But if we are the Body
Why aren't His arms reaching
Why aren't His hands healing
Why aren't His words teaching
And if we are the Body
Why aren't His feet going
Why is His love not showing them there is a way

Jesus paid much too high a price
For us to pick and choose who should come
And we are the Body of Christ...."
