My babies are getting so big!

Last week I had to isolate one of the chickies, as he had peck wounds on his neck (poor little guy, and yes, I'm pretty sure he's a roo). It figures all the ones I have to take the most hand care of, are looking to be roos *sigh* Anyhoo, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to get pics of all the chickies, since I had the camera out & going.

The one to the right (gray with black head) looks like he's going to end up being a roo, as well):

No, not a hint, LOL. You couldn't see the pics of her (Rocki) on the carpet. We're almost positive this one's a girl. The folks at BYC agree based on my post of pictures:

Will you play with me? (Bwahameowhaha)

Kitty please with cherries on top?

  1. They're so sweet! We're having such a blast watching our chicks. Who knew how much fun they were!

  2. Your chicks are so cute! I love them all and maybe the roos are just manly pullets. I am holding out to decide for sure on mine but out of 27 pullets I think at least 4 or 5 are roosters. Only time will tell.

"....But if we are the Body
Why aren't His arms reaching
Why aren't His hands healing
Why aren't His words teaching
And if we are the Body
Why aren't His feet going
Why is His love not showing them there is a way

Jesus paid much too high a price
For us to pick and choose who should come
And we are the Body of Christ...."
