Homemade cat urine smell remover

I'd been looking for this for several weeks. It never dawned on me to check my old blog.

Homemade cat urine smell remover:

1/4c hydrogen peroxide
1/4 c baking soda
1/4 c white vinegar
1 T. dish liquid

Here's what I did:
mix well & put on area to be cleaned. Rub in well (I just used my hands). I sucked it up with our carpet cleaner, then used vinegar & water in the cleaner to go over it again. The vinegar reeks, but once it's dry, the smell of the vinegar is gone, along with the odors.

  3. Vinegar alone didn't work for me for removing the stench. I've heard a lot of people say it didn't work for them either. Of course, I have a very sensitive sniffer.

  4. You have to get to it BEFORE you can smell it. If you are finding the spot by smell, then I suppose stronger stuff is in order.

  5. Sorry, but I smell it as soon as they pee.

"....But if we are the Body
Why aren't His arms reaching
Why aren't His hands healing
Why aren't His words teaching
And if we are the Body
Why aren't His feet going
Why is His love not showing them there is a way

Jesus paid much too high a price
For us to pick and choose who should come
And we are the Body of Christ...."
